Welcome to our Oak King Ritual Candle Page.

The Oak King is one half of the Green Man, ruling over the season of Growth, Winter to Summer Solstice. At the Winter Solstice we welcome him to his Throne, to watch over the Season of Growth once more.

The Lid to your Candle becomes a convenient Ritual plate, the tin containing the Charcoal Disc can be turned inside out to become a disposable incense burner, arrange the Sunstone, Acorn and Antler Charm, around the Incense on your makeshift Ritual Plate.

The spell pages are sent digitally, they contain the main ritual to celebrate the Solstice and a second Ritual called the Horns of Power, a self empowerment Ritual.

    Brand Story

The Cunning Grove was conceived just before the pandemic, after nearly 15 years of dreaming of owning my own business. Its gone through a few name changes, a few "rebranding" choices.

After many years of not quite getting it right I have finally come to a design, look and feel that is brand on point!

We are at heart and always have been a handcrafted business, I started off making hand Rolled Beeswax Candles, Loose Incense, Oils and Sprays; which are still core and fundamental to the Business.

At our Core we are a Natural, Green focused business, we endeavour to use all natural materials where possible, and recycle as much as we can. Wether thats packaging or encouraging our customers to bring back jars for refils with 10% off.
